Im thinking about replacing the fan on my heatsink as it came with this

will i notice cooler temps if i replace it?

It depends on the fan. Normally though the fan is controlled automatically by the motherboard, unless it's set to be on 100% of the time...

First thing I'd suggest is look at your BIOS settings to see what things are set as.
