Will this HP 3055a work on OS 10.6.8

It doesn't stat 10.6.8 but it should be ok right?

Should be fine, it mentions 10.6 so yeah it fine

Will work fine. Don't even need to download the drivers manually, just set the printer up (presuming wirelessly), open System Preferences, Print & Scan, + button, and under "Use" where it says AirPrint, just select the printer name instead. It'll download all the drivers automatically.

EDIT: AirPrint was introduced with Lion. So the above steps should be shorter, it'll download automatically when you add it.

HP Printers are pretty compatible with OS X, and I'd expect Snow Leopard is the minimum version most 3rd party drivers still support anyway.
