will this match current card

I have a x1800xt and i am having to downsize my case and have to get a single slot card will a OcUK GeForce 8600 GT 256MB GDDR3 at least match my current x1800xt ? hopefully I can upgrade again once the next gen are out.

Nope that would be slower than your current card.

x1800 XT is faster than the 8600 GT by quite a bit, i doubt we'll see next gen cards in single slot form.

How about OcUK's x1950pro, thats a single slot judging by the pic, and wont be much slower than your x1800, bargain £85 for a 512mb version.
