Have an Asus Pundit, taked up to 800MHZ DDR2, have 2*512MB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 667, works fine, wnat to upgrade ot 2*1GB sticks.. and was looking at these..

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC

Will they work in my system, as in the mobo manual, they are not listed as tested memory, but the crucial's are..

Yes they will work fine...

The ASUS certified memory chart is a guideline of what you should be looking for if you don't have a clue what to buy.

As long as your mobo supports DDR2 and provides enough voltage then the OCZ kit will work.

Thanks, you hear about all these compatabilty issues thoguh, as the Pundit is suppose to be very fussy memory wise...

IC. Well if it doesn't work you can always return it within 10 days of purchase.

Is that set in stone, because I've just ordered the exact same RAM, and am dubious whether it will be OK.. system is DDR2 compatible... if I can return it for a swap then it's all good.
I'm 95% sure it will be OK tho, but u can never be absolutely sure until it's in and working.
