I have this ram spare and a 775 cpu and was thinking of upgrading my daughters pc.

Should be fine, 775 boards weren't too fussy with RAM voltage, was only the i5/i7 motherboards which are picky.

On a cheap motherboard like that I wouldn't expect the RAM to run any faster than 1333MHz though.

That fine aslong as it will work,the rams been a box for a while now and my daughter`s shuttle with 512mb is way to slow so it`s upgrade time
