Will this monitor work with G-Sync?

ok so NVIDIA are allowing some freesync monitors to work with g-sync, even some that came out 3 years ago. i have heard some work with g-sync even without being certified.

i have the c49hg90 samsung monitor, i think it has freesync 2 but i dont remember.

will this work with g-sync? how can i test this?

It will because every freesync monitor works - but only 12 will auto enable

And only 12 will have what NVIDIA consider to be decent, reliable VRR Performance. The rest will likely be hit and miss

So how would i enable it to work with g-sync?

First I'm guessing I would turn on Freesync.

but when i go onto nvidia control panel it does not say g-sync

Drivers aren't released for it yet - approx. 15th of this month they come out.
