and here is my CPU
Intel Core i7 10700K @ 3.80GHz

Yeah, it'll work (except the primary M.2 slot won't and the graphics will still be PCI-E 3.0, because your CPU is 10th gen), but why do you want to?

Very rarely is that kind of in-generation upgrade worthwhile.

I am expected for a new GPU, but I found this Z590 a nice price on ukoverclockers.
At this point I have Z490 my original plan was to get the Z690, but I'm not sure.

Z490 is perfectly fine for a 10700K, I'd just keep what you have and put it towards the new GPU
