Will this ram work?

My motherboard takes upto 800mhz ram and I have seen this

It runs at 900mhz but will it just lower it's speed down to 800mhz?

How does it work?

Board is a Asrock AliveNF4G-DVI

Should be fine, mite be worth checking your board can supply the volts it needs tho

Wow, didn't see that memory, quite a good price... will it overclock to 1000mhz? I was looking at the OCZ stuff at 800MHZ @ 4-4-4-15, this is 900MHZ @ 5-5-5-15. So is it just an overclocked OCZ in a way?

Tbh I'd go for the pc6400 OCZ.

It's cheaper and should do 900mhz @4-4-4-12.

It's clearance so should have a full warranty. Would be good memory! But i'd possibly go OCZ as i've never had any problems with them!

Im tempted to do that as well. But the fact that for less than £50 more (only £15 more if you look hard) you can get 4gb Geil or OCZ stuff. Im wondering if having 4gb is more future proof and better than have 2gb fast stuff
