I'm getting an asus A88XM plus and amdA8 5600k black edition and 8gb gskill ram 1600mhz will it run a few games as well

Yes it will, but you will get better results for gaming with faster ram and OCing the chip. So an after market cooler would help.

Well, your OP said a few games and now you say "only FIFA".
I specced the fast ram to cover you for future games. Besides, there`s not to much difference in price, between the ram I specced and 1600.

Well the odd game but I don't really game much and I've already purchased the gskill as the colour fits in with my case
You`ll be fine, FIFA is`nt very intensive.

It will be fine for FIFA, not sure about the other games you play. The other board allows you to OC, the one you have selected is very limited in that department.
