AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1100T Black Edition 3.30GHz (Socket AM3)

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Extreme 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3 MA770 (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)

Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD103UJ)

Will this all run on a 500W Power PSU?

Thanks! in advance. ;)

Depends on the make and model of the PSU.

If it's a good PSU which will actually give out the said wattage then yes 500W is plenty.

It might not if you have a cheap crappy generic PSU or something.

Well im going to get the: Cooler Master Elite 430 Windowed Case - Black (with 500w Elite Power PSU) for the time being till i get my new job in about 2months time then i will upgrade it to a 650W.

The PSU that comes with the 430 is good. I've got one myself! :p

Although, if it were me, I would ditch the 1100T and that motherboard and few just £20 more go for an i5 2500K which absolutely destroys it in every aspect.

Here is a comparison on AnandTech.

I'm happy with the list as it is, but thankyou for your advise i did take in to consideration but this build will already beat my current PC as it is now in the bin. As of now im out of a job too for a cuple of months and i cant live without my pc so this will do for the time being.

Yeah that PSU should handle it fine. What you gonna be using the computer for mainly?

@Jordan

Then he would have to buy a more expensive motherboard too so your looking at a minimum of £40-50 more.

just gaming as my old one, old one was £550 4 years ago, looking for this one to last just as long. I'm not a mad gamer but am looking for it to be on 12hours aday not all gaming probably about 2-4 hours gaming.

Or he could get the MSI H67MA-E35 Intel H67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro-ATX Motherboard which is exactly the same prices and offers USB 3.0, SATA 6.0GB/s and a UEFI BIOS.

Have you already got the parts, if not I'd revise your build as most games only make use of 4 cores, so a 6core CPU won't benefit you that much over a 955BE or something.

And yes they're all compatible
