Will this void my warrenty

The memory has led's on, and I wouldn't like to cover them. Plus they do overclock very well without hs on them. Mine use only 1.9v

Heatsinks on memory don't really do anything anyway. I had a set of GeIL 1066 and it ran very cool.

If you're overclocking it's better to stick a fan over them. In the old days of Micron D9GMH chips, I had some 667mhz stuff running @ 1066mhz, and without a fan they would overheat and crash the system within a few minutes.

+1 the fan option.

If applied incorrectly, added heatsinks can actually worsen your heat transfer rates.

As for ramping up voltage, have you looked at the website, or asked on their forums regarding how much voltage you can pump trhough them before voiding rma warranty?

If your still intent on the heatsink, no, they won't void your warranty, as someone else said, no one will know anyway.

But giving them stupidly high voltages will probably void RMA, you need to check on what they accept.

My corsair RAM is rated for 1.5v, but Corsair will accept RMA up to 2.0v I think, not that I will go anywhere near that.

Depends how much airflow they're getting.

I swapped some Corsair XMS2 PC6400 for Corsair Dominator PC8500 and my temp dropped about 8C. In my case it was because the airflow wasn't getting "close" enough to the motherboard to cool the sticks properly. The high fins on the Dominator meant they protruded further "out" and into the airflow, thus helping temps.
