Will this work? (Extending Network via Wireless)

Hi

I am in a shared house and want to create my own Network so I my Server and PC can connect to my Apple TV and PS3 without my housemates being able to stream my files as well. However it is a wireless only house so I can't extend a network cable to a router and do it that way.

Would it work if I have a router that connects to the other router via Wireless and then have both Wireless and Wired connections running off that router? The router I would be using to do this is a Billion 7800N. If this wouldn't work have you got any ideas what would?

It would work however the wireless bandwidth in the network would still be shared therefore the contention ratio would remain the same

That's fine, the wired connections would be perfect for streaming from Server to XBMC though
