Buying this on Friday when the new Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Toxic OC 3072MB comes out and was wondering if this works and everything complies and will fit in etc

if you take that middle hdd caged out it should fit easily. if you don't it might be a tight fit or it might not fit.

If you want to overclock the cpu I would grab a better CPU cooler. I use a Dark Rock Pro 2 for my 4670k system. Using the same board it runs 4.6Ghz and remains cool and quite.

i think you would be best plugging it in the top one because the second one looks like its only x8 whereas the top on is x16

ah ok but i dont think at the top u can remove the hdd cage as there is like a twrily thing which is stuk there but i could be wrong

It would be better to get just one set of RAM for now. I doubt you will use near the full 8gb in gaming for a very long time. It is easier to get two sticks of RAM stable when overclock than four. The RAM is also a little tall, which will restrict you in choosing your coolers. What you save in RAM i would throw towards getting a higher quality motherboard like the Gigabyte OC or if you want to keep the red and black theme, the gigabyte Z87X-UD4H

Change the PSU to an antec or seasonic, will you be going xfire in the future? If not you can drop to 500-600w.

Just make sure that your case is wide enough to fit and get low profile RAM.
