Just wondering. Currently I'm working on 1 GB PC3200 +XBLK DDR dual channel kit by PDP and I'm thinking bout a slight upgrade. Anyone knows if there will be any performance/compatibility issues if I put 2 GB PC3200 LLK DDR DC kit (by PDP as well, for a total of 3 GB RAM) into my other two memory sockets? It's either that, or another set of 1 GB +XBLK whichever will work best (PDP don't seem to be doing 2 GB PC3200 +XBLK kits, which sucks tbh). Thanks in advance.

I understand nobody's tried mixing the Patriots like that :(. Ok so a different question - is it generally a good idea to mix RAM from two different manufacturers (i.e. I'd have one dual channel filled by PDP RAM and the other by say Corsair) - what could be the issues if I do?

The dual channels should be ok - two slots would be filled with Patriot and the other two with Corsair (if I was to choose Corsair that is). I'm not all that crazy bout selling Patriots tho, as they have really good timings (2-2-2-5-1T @ 400 MHz) = plenty of O/C potential. All in all it goes down to which option will give me better results:
4x512 MB RAM (2-2-2-5-1T) - the XBLK or
2x1 GB RAM (2-3-2-5-1T) - LLK (similar to those of Mushkin Blue line).
Corsair, though much cheaper has higher timings (2-3-3-6).
