Will this work ?

ahhhh bugger, 32 bit vista so no more than 4 gig ? the volts are the same 2.1 on the both sets of ram....

the bord is a DFI LANParty UT NF680i LT SLI-T2R nForce 680i LT

Compatibility between different sticks is variable, it might work, it might not. If it does work then all sticks are knocked down to the speed of the slowest (CAS 5 / 5-5-5-18).

With 32-bit Vista you wouldn't get the full amount, no.

You may also want to check if the 680i chipset is capable of supporting 4 DIMMs at 800 Mhz.

I'd either get the ones you posted the link to, and replace your old RAM, or try and find a single 1gb stick of similar RAM to what you currently have and just plug that in.
It won't make a huge difference, but it'll be better than nothing at all.

Remember, since you have a 32bit OS the max memory is 4gb, this also includes your GFX card's memory. (So most likely your current total memory would be around 2.5gb or so)
