Will Time Machine Backup Bootcamp XP/Vista?

That would be brilliant if it does. Also does time machine compress your files? of does it just save a copy of everything?

I think it's file based rather than partition based. So if your VM uses files on HFS then I'd expect it to.

According to the keynote blurb, it's file based but you can back up everything or specified areas.

yeah i am hoping its just an option to select my XP drive and have that included.

Now i only hope it uses some kind of compression, otherwise i would need to double the amount of storage i have just to insure a compete backup. Something i would not like do it.
