will upping PCIE voltage help the GPU?

ok first of all, abit of background... im running Furmark, and i am noticing that there are these 1-second long pauses which happen randomly... it does not seem to be related to the GPU's overclocking since it doesnt happen less/more often with slower/faster GPU and memory clocks

so i was thinking that maybe the problem lies somewhere else, will i get better stability on the gpu if i up the PCI express voltage? like the IOH and ICH PCI express voltage settings in my bios...

what graphics card and GPU, my guess is your processor is causing a bottleneck

core i7 930 3.37ghz

i dont think that the cpu is too slow for furmark, its hardly even using any cpu time when furmark is running

is the processor overclocked at all?

Afaik changing pcie voltages can be a bit dangerous to components

i think if you're running multiple gpu's that are overclocked, upping the IOH pci-e voltage can help increase stability

Do you have any other PCI-E cards? A non-standard PCI-E voltage will cause problems with things like sound cards (crackling etc) and may damage others.
