I have had a decent afternoon on Mr Hill's site but for some reason they have declared 2 bets as losers.

I placed money on "Time of Goal" during the Chelsea v Norwich game :

  • Bet 1 : A goal scored between 86 minutes and full time (7/4)
  • Bet 2 : A goal scored in 2nd half injury time (7/2)
Now both bets have been marked as "LOST" despite Mata scoring in the 100th minute. Having spent 15 minutes on Live Chat with William Hill the agent I "spoke" with agrees they are winners but cant do anything until he speaks with the "Settlers".

Anyone else had this problem.

This is the first time this has happened for me tbh. I reckon due to the fact there was over 11 mins of injury time they will find a tiny rule written somewhere saying they only count the first 5.

Success - they actually paid out. Why it took 3 live chats and 1 1/2 hours of my time in total I have no idea. All I got when I asked why this happened - "We apologise" That was it.

Did you place that bet after the Drogba injury? Good odds if so.

Yes - but to be honest I tend not to bet on results, I tend to do the penalties, corners, time of goals etc - better odds.

You usually get around 7/2 for injury time goals and Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Celtic etc are fairly good as this.

This season around 75% of penalties have been missed (@12/1 on average).

Anyhoo no more tips ! :D

I work at a gambling company.

Customer's are so impatient sometimes, just chill the **** out give it a couple of hours and it will probably be sorted on it's own, saving you having to waste 1 1/2 hours of your life chasing a bet.

As was said they had declared both bets as LOSING bets, not unsettled. I use Hill's all the time and the bets as usually settled within 10 mins of game finishing so no problems there. If it was not settled but left open then I would not have been on to them.
