Williams revive Renault engine link-up

More interesting is the continuation of the rumour that Renault have cash flow problems and won't have Renault engines, but Cosworth next year.

How could they let this happen? For a financial management company they have must have really dropped the ball.

The question for Williams is what they are going to do now with gearbox and KERS. They have usually built their own stuff, but the Renault KERS seems quite good, hopefully we will see the innovation similar to Red Bull.

I wonder if the HRT gearbox deal for this year will be carried to next year, with the Williams rear end on the HRT, they might given the other new teams a bit more fight.

What is interesting is that Cosworth were the only engine maker to have the 4 engine partner allowance, i think that was the only way they were going to go into F1. Now it is as it should be, similar to the 90s, the cheaper teams have the slower engines and the faster/wealthier teams have the more faster engines.

Suddenly, Williams has become a possibility for certain drivers, good engine, good team, a new management team, a formula that could be hard to ignor for certain drivers that are anxious to leave there teams.
