Murray's 1st round match looked like a breeze; beating Goffin 6-1 6-4 7-5. I don't think he will win it this year. That route looks incredibly difficult once he hits the quarters and I don't think he is currently strong enough to beat Djokovic and Nadal.

Two Britons have fallen already, expect to see all but Murray follow them promptly.
 
As usual Federer steam rolled his 1st round opposition, I would imagine similar results until the quarters which seems to be the new point of where his previous dominance waivers.

Watson has taken her first set and Nadal has lost his first set :eek:

Didn't take long, Nadal level now.

His stock just shot through the roof! He made it look so easy in that final game, all to easy to bottle it at that point. Well done.

If Federer turns up properly, a big if, he might just have a chance now (highly unlikely I know).

The problem is mainly on my phone. It's done it with several browsers, all relatively new installs as I have flashed my phone several times in the last few weeks. I will try that next time, cheers :)

Of the last 38 Grand Slams, only these have not been won by Murray, Fed, Nadal or Djoko:

2005 Australian Open
2009 US Open
2014 Australian Open

Collectively they have amassed $234m of prize money :eek:

EDIT - I say it all the time but watch out for Mrs Federer's hands, they're massive!

Wawrinka can absolutely ping some shots back but his body language looks deflated, though he has upped his game a little. Federer serving for the match.

Two awful mistakes from Federer! Make that three! His 1st serves in this set have been poor.

He is likely to be 10th in the ATP rankings, mini lol. This hasn't been a great season though (recently) winning two Grand Slams and Olympic gold is hard to follow for a Brit.
