Well the first day is underway, with good weather forecast for at least the first week. Looks like we won't get to see the new roof on No. 1 Court until we're deep into the tournament.

For the first time EVERY match is live via iPlayer and the BBC website. A selection are also available via the good-old red button.

Novac seems to be cruising through. 2 up already. Halep through in straight sets.

LOL Zverev. It's unbelievable how much attention he gets. Obviously he has a decent ranking from playing well on tour over 3 set matches but he just can't hack it at any slam.
