I have tickets for court one on the final Saturday. Not overly keen on watching whatever will be on that day. So we are planning on using the tickets just to get into the grounds then sit on Murray mound and watch the ladies final.

Since we are going all the way down London for this, we fancy watching the men's final on the mound also.

Question is - how early would we need to be in the queue to get tickets for ground entry on the final Sunday?? We have accommodation for the Saturday night so don't really want to queue overnight, but I was wondering if we'd be best buying a tent and getting in the queue as soon as we've finished in the grounds on the Saturday. I've read you can store your tent and belongings in a locker in Wimbledon or somthing??

Anyone been before and able to offer a bit of advise?

There are left luggage facilities which cost about a fiver from memory, but they do say bags should be airline carry-on size at max so get a packable tent if that's your plan. It's hard to predict demand for the final as it will depend hugely on who gets there. I reckon if Murray's there it'll be an overnight job but otherwise you'd be alright getting there early in the morning (6am-ish).

We've queued before but both times in the first week (and on a non-Murray day) so can't speak from experience for the final. Both times we arrived around 5am and got either Centre or No. 1 Court tickets.
