Win 10 Home to Pro

Is there an upgrade license or do I have to buy a full Win 10 Pro license to move from Win 10 Home?

You can do it via the Store app. Go into the app and search for windows 10 pro, there you can upgrade for £99.99 I believe.

Thanks for the quick reply, is that a real upgrade? ie will it leave all existing data and apps from the Home installation?

Hi, yep you'll keep everything you currently have as it doesn't do a fresh install.

As above, but here's something else: you can also use a Retail Windows 7 Pro or 8.1 Pro key if you have one to upgrade Windows 10 Home to Pro. I know this because I upgraded my laptop using an 8.1 Pro key.
