win 10 keyboard help, please.

Mate has 2 keyboards with same problem. He can use numlock keys when booting for password, but cant when using later. They work ok on gf laptop also win 10 ? Tried the numlock trick on youtube to no aviail. He uses keys for trading in warcraft . Any ideas please.

Anything in the BIOS about it? I know there is normally an option to have it enabled or disabled when booting.
