Win 10 Still On Build 10240 : Help!

Can someone tell me what the latest build is please. I know there was a large update in Nov/Dec, I havent had anything at all.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the update to download, as it never appears in my updates.

Mine is the same build number, the updates now download and install in the background most of the time without you knowing.

I'm on 10586.71 but to do that I had to download the ISO and install it from within Windows.

I did the upgrade from 7 Pro to 10 pro a couple of days ago and I have build 10586.104.

Use the Media creation tool from Microsoft (2nd link on this page)
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

Then run the installer from your USB stick (that you've just created)

Had to do this on two machines so far that were 'stuck' on 10240. Many fixes between that and the latest version, well worth doing it!

i had the same problem being stuck on that old build since i upgraded last august! i went online to microsoft and they took control of my pc. they found that for some unknown reason i still had the option to rollback to w7, even though it had been months since my upgrade. this was stopping it getting and installing the latest builds (wouldnt even find them!). the microsoft tech ran the latest w10 installer over the top of my current install and now everything seems fine (for now) and i dont have the rollback option any longer.

Also for those who aren't sure how to check, the easiest way is just to type "winver" into the start menu/run and click the result.
