Hello all, is there any way to make a user that is a copy of the main users but without the permission to install and uninstall..

the kids want to play with the pc but thay keep messing with things (unknowingly) but kids press stuff on the keyboard and it doesn’t take much to mess things up.

Create them as a User rather than an Administrator - if they try and (un)install anything, the computer will request the Admin to log in
It will also make it easier to protect areas of the disk from their prying eyes

but would there user be a copy of the main one so I don’t have to reinstall games and stuff

All depends how you installed the game in the first place.
If you installed it for "Just my user", then it will need to be installed in each profile.
If they were installed as available for all users, then it will be installed for all profiles

If the games are in a shared area of disk, then create shortcuts for the games in their profiles

i managed to get this set up and working how i wanted.

when say the kids have been on and they turn off the pc the next time its turned on it logs them in.
is there a way to make the PC go to log-in/log-on screen every time its booted.

If I didn’t have to do that it would be best but I have have to I could do a silly pin like 1234
Or, you could try teaching the kids to log out before shutting down, that may present you with the login screen at next boot.
