Win 2008 R2 or 2008 SBS on VPS?

We're setting up a remote database an app server for our accounts software that allows us to remote in, only three of us.

We are limited on VPS size, 1 cpu and 768MB ram.

Is SBS lighter than R2 when it comes to mem usage and will R2 run ok on sub 1GB ram?

SBS is R2 but with Exchange bits added on, so its foot print will be much bigger

I see, I thought it was a cut down version not the other way around - thanks.

Do you think 768 ram will suffice for a low load server?

It states the lowest is 512mb RAM. I normally like to see 1-2gb thoe by the time you've loaded all the other software on.

You should be ok.
