Win 7 64bit Webcam Drivers...

Hi I have an old USB webcam, Intel PC Camera Pro CS430. I can't get Windows 7 64 bit to find any drivers for it.

I have drivers but I think the problem might be they are 32-bit, I've tried running compatability mode for Windows XP but it still wont recognise them.

Is there anywhere I can go from here?

I have exactly the same camera and have never found any Windows 7 64bit drivers for it. You can use it in an XP virtual enviroment though.

To be honest I would just cut my losses and buy a cam that has suitable drivers. Any of the Microsoft Lifecam one's are a worthy investment (with the VX-1000 available for around £15) and has drivers for Win 7 x64.

I use the VX1000, and found no problems with it.

If it's that old it won't work with Windows 7, I would suggest it's time for a new one.

I've had the VX1000 and its a good trusty basic webcam. Good driver support from ms aswell and integrates nciely with msn live/skype.
