Win 7: Can I move the show desktop button?

I preferred it on the left. Why did they put it on the right?

I have it on the left, though I have my taskbar vertically. Considering the placement of the show desktop button, I've always thought Microsoft intended the taskbar to be vertical.

That's adding in a separate icon though. I want to relocate the standard show desktop button.

This is one change I cannot understand, but its great you can add the short-cut again.
