win 7 defrag problem

Just defragging the drive it seems to have stopped at PASS 8,0% consolidation
been like it about 20minutes now

any ideas?
only a 80GB HDD and 34GB of files so don't think it should be stuck there or took that many passes

Have you tried a different defagger?

Have you tried different types of defragging or even forcing a defrag without checking the disk, and of course using check Disk first anyway?

Probably stopped responding, terminate it and start again.

Stability test your computer if you get more things like that happening.
