please start the application with the local administrators privileges once magix music maker.

Is the message im getting once its installed and I click to open the programme up.

Any IDeas as to what im supposed to do?, its says to put the installation cd back in and restart the programme, which I do, but nothing happins, just the same notice everytime.

Right-click the application and try run as admin - presuming you are an admin.

If not, try run it in compatabilit mode - Right-click > Properties > Compatability - try Vista SP2 or maybe XP SP3

If it doesn't work then, it's prob a really old app that doesn't work with the OS - see if there are any updates on the vendor's site?

This has been working on Xp for about a year old, Vista wouldnt load the windows correctlym so Ive had to keep using Xp, getting annoying now that Win 7 is asking for some really tiny permission I know what it is too, its to check the Serial off the CD, which I have, why its blocking such a Tiny installtion thing bugs me!

Still wont run it after trying as the Admin.

K, tried the compatability thing and it seems to have let it finish the installation.

It's not that key thing that you think is blocking it. Like I said, it will be the general compatability of the program in 7, and the same with Vista.

Have a look at the vendors site to see if there is a Vista/7 patch for it.
