Win 7 Home Install With Pro Key

I have both Win 7 Home and Pro (full not OEM). I have never used any of the Pro extras and I need to re-install Win 7 on my main pc. Will it work if I use my home disk to install and then use the pro key to activate or should I just stick to installing the pro version?

Just install Pro. I suspect it wont activate with a Pro key.

Just wondered if I would save disk space and see any speed increase with just installing home instead of pro. I'll just stick with pro then.

It won't activate with a Pro key. You should install using the Pro disc.
