In the RC, never had this problem, with the Enterprise version i had this problem, and now with a full retail Home Premium, i have this problem.

For no apparent reason, a box pops up saying "Internet explorer has stopped working", when it hasnt, and clicking Close Program doesnt close it at all.

It doesnt effect my browsing, just annoys the hell out of me with it popping up all the time. Anyone else getting this ?

I am having this problem - quick Google shows that the Research add-on in IE8 that is installed as part of the Office 2007 tools could be to blame. Have now removed via the office change feature in add/remove programmes.

Also had Skype and Flash10 appear as one of the reasons in the Event Viewer. Skype now also disabled (thought I said no during install for this anyway).

Anyway i thought the problem had disapeared the past few days, then it flared right back up last night, just would not **** off. Tried disabling all add-ons in IE and it still happened  Nobody else getting this then ?

I have been using Firefox for a while but wanted to give IE8 a whirl and had it crash numerous times before reverting back to Firefox.

IE8 never just popped up the 'This has crashed' window on me, it did just crash.

I seem to be getting this message when closing IE, normally with multiple tabs, or when the webpage is running flash, mainly Beatport.com and YouTube.

WIll have a longer look into this later. Never had it on the RC, RTm or the trial which is odd.
