I recieved my home premium pre-order today, a bit early but but when i have had the RC for a good time (which has Ultimate features) I dont plan on instaling for a while.
I paid £44.99 so i am happy,but i fail to see why people have so awaited previous Windows launches, Is the release of a RC new to Windows 7?
 
I ordered in late July from (edited as per rules) a Major retailer that has several high street shop names.

Even i was amazed they honoured the price having been let down years ago by them!
 
I was on XP on old system, the RC release made me jump into a new rig as i suddenly dint need a new OS immediately!

For that i think MS got something right!
