at home, you?
when i open network and sharing center, it tells me im not connected to any networks, im on a gigabyte z68ap-d3 and im currently online now, its effecting my ability to share my media over my network, has anyone had this issue? win 7 64bit, Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

Try disabling and re-enabling and see if it says its connected. Failing that, get the latest drivers for it and reinstall them.

tried re-installing drivers, new drivers/old drivers, new cables and nothing, im still able to get online, but in the network and sharing center it says no network connections, it worked for a few weeks after a fresh install

Check the physical network port to see if it is damaged.
What is the other end of the network cable plugged into (router, switch etc)? Can you plug another pc or laptop into it using the same equipment to rule it out?

no damage, to the port, im plugged into a vm superhub, have tried another pc on my network cable and it works fine and shows network connected, seems to be a windows issue on my system

The port works (he is able go online etc), but Windows just doesn't detect it and says there is no cable (when in fact there is).

Try it in another port on the router, see if it says anything different.

getting to the point where im tempted to do yet another re-install of win 7, or just think about puttin xp pro on my m4 instead of 7

Well its detecting the port plugged in (as the icon in the taskbar doesnt show an X). Click 'Connect to a network' and see what options you get.

Have u set up a bridge before for internet connection sharing?...

I get "not connected" even tho it still works when the bridge is activated...

Take a screenshot of the 'change adaptor settings' screen, hold left ALT when pressing print screen. Manually resize the Paint canvas by dragging it to a small square, then paste it in ;)

only thing in there is my realtek gigabyte lan connection but here it is along with some other details showing everything is set to normal
