If i have Win 7 oem installed and change my graphics card will Win 7 stop working?

Been using xp on my desktop since forever and never had a problem with any kind of hardware update. Alway been ble to phone up and reregistor. With Win 7 being new i was wondering if ill hit any problems.

If there is likely to be any problems i will hold off till i get passed down the graphic card and install Win 7 after.

Heh, two years is but a drop in the ocean ;)

Thanks for the help. I always thought XP was the bee's knees, it was only since i put Win 7 onto my laptop i realised how slow and buggy XP really is.

Time for my desktop to get some tlc.

Thanks again.

If you have retail disks and code (FPP) then you can transfer them to a different pc anyway as long you uninstalled it from the original pc it was installed on. Basically it can be installed on any one pc at a time, plus a mobile pc (laptop) that is also used by the primary user of the pc.
OEM licences cannot legally be bought without qualifying hardware.....although even MS staff offer differing opinions on this

Clarification needed!

I have a retail version of Win 7 home premium. Are you saying i can have it installed on my desktop and my laptop with the same key code?
