Win 7 OEM

I have an OEM version of Windows 7 professional 64 bit that I bought when win 7 was released. I was going to use it in the system I was building at the time but ended up with a retail version instead so it remains unopened.
My question is:
Can I legally sell it?
I've trawled various sites and can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Do you mean the oem version is unopened? Yes, You can sell it. If it were opened and used then you could only sell it with the motherboard that it was originally installed on.

If you had installed it on a pc, then you would have to sell it with the motherboard it was installed on as its 'illegal' to do otherwise. But since its unused, you are free to do what you want with it.
