Win 7 on another PC

I got a new laptop last month which came with a version of Win 7 Home Premium. Ive taken it off and put on XP.
Can I use the Win7 disk (which says for distribution with new PC only) on my home desktop computer without having to buy Win 7 again?
If I do..will it activate if its allreday been activated on my laptop before on first install?

It is OEM and as such the license is only for the laptop on which it was installed.

You will have to buy Windows 7 again.

I know that. But really the question is..will it activate on another PC?
It will only be used on one PC..so its not like im using an OEM disk and loading it on multiple computers really.
