Win 7 or Win 8?

My new PC parts should arrive tomorrow, it's a very high end spec machine and I'm not sure if I should put Win 7 on it or go with Win 8... Will I have issues with drivers etc on Win 8 or should I be fine?

Personally I would say go for win7, it is by far the best OS from Microsoft. Windows 8 does look good but for me its more for 'tablets' or touch screen PCs.

Win8 hasn't been released yet so will still be buggy. Why on earth would you run pre-release software on a primary rig?

Because I forgot to buy an OS

Guess I can just use my current legit key for my new install and just wipe the old HDD, that would work right?

If its a retail copy, No bother.

If its oem, it's a grey area. It may work, but the legality of it is questionable

this metro style sucks, stick to the original start bar used in win 7

It's tough to adapt your brain to metro. I failed after spending a few days with it. Just not having one click access to everything was annoying.

Very strange, but in my metro at the mo everything has gone all big even tho my resolution is high. All the metro tiles are massive, any suggestions?

If you really like smart phones and get upset with the extra power of a PC with a large usable screen and a decent keyboard, then get Windows 8

yeah I've got a mod running on my desktop which is for vista and 7 allowing me to one-click to anything I want to. I've tried my hardest to do anything similar but running it with metro causes major issues.
