Win 7 technet RTM

Hi guys.

Quick question. If I install the technet RTM version of Win 7 home premium and don't activate it, will I be able to activate it with a product key from the retail version once it ships? I can't see any reason why not, but I was wondering if the 'E' version would make any difference?

In a word - Yes.

The Technet "version" is simply the retail iso.

Won't that be different from the Win 7 'E' ISO though? And will that affect activation, seeing as they're slightly different editions?

Windows 7 "E" doesn't exist anymore.
