Wireless will not appear in my network connections

Only local area network shows

If I run the manage wireless networks menu in windows 7 and try to add a wireless connection it days wireless is not enabled.

I have installed a USB wireless adaptor

Add nwu28 wireless but it may not have installed correctly as it shows as a yellow warning sign in device manager

Help/ advice appreciated.

Also if I were to go power line networking which ones are the best to use in extensions? Or on sockets that are also in use by other appliances?

Thanks

Majik

Sounds like at the moment the USB device isn;t working in device manager - you'll need to sort that out first.

If you double click on the device with the yellow warning triangle, what does it say is the problem (could be missing drivers perhaps)?

+1 for getting correct drivers for usb wireless so that it shows as installed properly and then hopefully works :)

Go to makers website and get correct ones for windows 7 32/64 bit depending what you are using
