Win 7 - Unable to view Router pages

I can connect to my Router by LAN or WiFi but when I try to access the set-up/maintenance pages via IE 8 it will not connect.I can connect to the web okay.It worked fine with Vista which also had IE 8.I can still connect to the set-up pages on my laptop which still runs Vista

Just use a normal browser applet

But instead of www.google.co.uk, put your routers IP address

This wont solve the issue, whatever it is you're having, but it is a workaround

After a reboot I can now access the router from IE 8
