Hello,

My win 7 os has decided that there is a new Nvidia Graphics driver and has downloaded it and is now ready to install. From my understanding this is not the best way to do it; I have always done a manual install in the past.

If I shutdown my PC the install will happen as there is no 'Shutdown without installing' (note I have now changed how windows notifies me about updates).
So will windows do the install will it be OK? what are my options here?
Bit stuck on this, any advice would be appreciated.

Regards

Hi thanks for the reply,

Sorry but are you saying let windows update do its thing, or go to nvidia site and download drivers and then do the install manually ie custom clean install?

I'm concerned that when computer does it shutdown-restart it's going to try and do the driver updates because they are in the update Que?

Regards

Let Windows install everything first, then update manually.

Lots of people get stuck in old routines, windows has come a long way since the days where you had to install drivers in order etc, or it wouldn't run right
