win 7 - win 10 upgrade fails first_boot sysprep

Hi all

hope somebody can help,

my computer downloaded the Windows 10 no problem went through all the process, restarted a few times, etc then

it seemed to hang and then restart then said it was restoring me back to windows 7

when windows 7 loaded I got the following error

0xc1900101 - 0x30018 first_boot SYSPREP

does anybody have any ideas,

my current pc setup is:

windows 7 64bit ultimate installed onto my Samsung 840 evo pro SSD

I have disabled my Anti-virus

can anybody help, thank you

Hi Ruseel, ye im downloading the windows 10 from the Microsoft website itself as im not getting the notification yet

Hi im on Legacy as far am im aware

and I cannot do a fresh install of windows 7 as id lose everything wouldn't I and I don't have any media to back everything upto

I cannot reformate as no where to backup my files so that's out the question

as anybody been sucesful in upgrading form windows 7 to windows 10

strange, it downloades form the website fine, goes through the full process until It gets to the istalling files screen - I think it says you know with the big clock counter I nthe middle, then just seems to go to the blank screen

I leave the blank screen on for like hours but nothing happens.

so I restart the computer and that's when it gives me the error message.

how did u install it, did u download it from the Microsoft website?
