Win 7 / XP Dual Boot Reccomendations

Any reccomendations on how best to setup the drive partitions on my HP Mini 311 if I'm going to have Win 7 and Win XP?
Just ordered a Seagate Momentus XT 500GB which gives me about 465GB to play with should I install Win 7 and XP on smaller partitions and then use the rest for installing software / storing media?

I have the Mini 311 and have been dual booting to winxp and win7. Created 3 different partitiions.

1 x 25 gb for Xp
1 x 30 gb for Win7
The rest for Data

Win in Xp the Win7 partition isn't touched and visa versa. Both OS share the same Data partition.

On my Mini 311 I've got 10GB for XP and 20GB for 7, rest data.

Hey thanks thats great!
Possible silly question, I take it if I install something for example Firefox while I'm in XP I'd need to then create shortcuts to it in Windows 7 to load it, am I right?
