Win 7 & XP mode experiences

I believe this to be the case, for example, I can't move it above 16 bit colour.

Other virtualization solutions to allow for certain degrees of 3D capabilities such as VirtualBox and Vmware.

XP Mode is intended more for the business that has bespoke software that won't run natively in Windows 7.

So software such as an access database would work (i need this for my job) and games needs dual boot to XP (or vista).

Office software will work absolutely fine, I had 2003 on the virtual XP and 2007 on my host 7 Pro 64bit. Works seamlessly and cool being able to run them both in unity on the 7 taskbar.:)
 
many old games just work anyway

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 works 100% fine in 7 x64, and that doesn't even have official XP support
