Have googled / searched and still can't find an answer to the question - how many installs do we get with the retail version? I know that it was 3 installs with Vista, but can't seem to find the answer anywhere for Win 7.
To be clear, I am talking about the number of installs that can be made when changing out hardware (since I do tend to swap mobo every 18 months or so). The OEM versions tied to the mobo and key system components always refused to re-activate once there was a mobo change, whereas the retail did allow a number of changes. I am NOT looking to simultaneously install on more than one machine and am aware of the licensing restrictions in doing so.
