Something has changed between W8 and W8.1 that means I cant get access to my WHS shares any more. On my W8 machine, everything works fine, on W8.1, im continually getting a
'You do not have permission blah blah' followed by a 'the remote procedure call failed and did not execute'
I have tried looking in the windows credentials section and deleting and recreating the entry with enterprise persistence.
In desperation I even tried to use the WHS connector, only to find I can't install it, the setup program complains about another install in process or a reboot needed. I have rebooted the WHS box and I know there are no installs due on the client or server.
Things to think about as this is really driving me up the wall, on a good note, I can see a SAN being moved up the priority list, but I really could do with this box lasting another six months if I can.
What is the best way to troubleshoot this?
