Hi, this seems to have got me stumped, I hope one of you can help.
I cloned my smaller SSD to a larger one, and all appears to be working well apart from it will not find show USB sticks.
It knows they are plugged in and out, and printers and devices shows them with their name.
Disk management shows them but has no drive letter, and when I try to assign one it gives me the "console view not up to date" error.
I tried assigning a drive letter in diskpart from command prompt, but it tells me it cant find the drive, despite it showing under list disk.
The device manager lists it as USB mass storage (all fine) and under storage volumes as "generic volume" with an exclamation mark.
Updating the driver using search automatically or pointing to windows system folder, tells me the driver is up to date !
Can anyone help me fix this without resorting to a re-install ?
