SX, unfortunately
This is doing my wife's head in and therefore she's doing my head in

Her laptop keeps losing cookies - mostly the ones that keep you logged in to various social media etc. sites.

My laptop is fine. Both our users are in the same groups etc. on the domain (server 2012 r2) so in theory all should be equal.

I've tried lots of stuff, but assuming I've missed something simple, please can someone give me some places to look?

Ta :)

im not too sure of what the issue is but are you both using the same browser as it could be browser related if cookies are being removed.

also does it happen every time you turn off the PC\laptop or does it keep it for so long and then they get removed after a few days?

if its IE it might be worth resetti9ng the browser settings, steps below and see if this helps at all if its not been done already. this is for IE 11

1.Close all Internet Explorer windows that are currently open.

2.Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.

3.Click the Tools button Tools, then click Internet options.

4.Click the Advanced tab, then click Reset.

5.In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialogue box, click Reset.

6.When Internet Explorer finishes applying default settings, tap or click Close, then click OK. You'll need to restart your PC for these changes to take effect.

Dammit forgot to subscribe to thread :(

Generally she uses the laptop exclusively. I've tried using it a few times logged in as me and it does the same to me sometimes. For her it will log her out every few minutes sometimes.

Pretty sure I'd tried resetting IE before - but tried it again and no effect :(

thanks and happy Christmas :)
